First Dance Moments!

I have a "Daily shot of JOY!" on my Facebook page where I pick a favorite picture from the group of pictures that I am currently working on...well I couldn't pick so I decided to post some of them here!

I love my job...I get to see the relationships between people play out all day during a wedding. This family was just beautiful. I actually only met the bride and groom in person a month or so before their wedding for an engagement session in Tahoe, as they live in Florida. I felt from the moment I met them...that I knew them just as well as if I had been spending months with them!

I had heard that "East Coasters" are not that friendly, or a different friendly then us in the West...not with this group...EVERY single person at this wedding was just so enjoyable to be around ALL day! People who are good people are good no matter where they hail from!

Ok...here we go...

These pictures are of the bride and grooms first dance...love it when couples add some flair!!!

This was my first Jewish wedding so I decided to include pictures from The Horah dance...AND I did a little research today (with the help of google) to see if I could find out what the "dancing in the chairs" dance actually means, I do not know if this is the real meaning behind the dance, but I like it so I am sharing!!!

"It is to symbolize that a good marriage requires that one strive to go ever higher, closer to God.
It is to symbolize that one cannot do anything without being supported by others.
It is to symbolize that in order to accomplish anything of consequence
one must get off the floor and do something!!!
It symbolizes the fact that we have little ultimate control of our lives and destinies."

Here are the fun pictures!!!

I couldn't pick out my favorites of these! Here is the Father Daughter Dance and the Mother Son Dance...

Thanks for taking the time to check out this post!!!

These Kids Are Loving Their New Blended Family

These pictures are just SO cute! Tyson and Talara each had 2 children...
so when they got married this past June...their family doubled in size!
These are just the most adorable pictures Dina captured of the kids during and after the kiss!!!
Another reminder of choosing a professional who just captures these moments without skipping a beat, because the kids reactions, is JUST as important as capturing the kiss!

Isn't the little guy just the cutest! This is precious! His new brother!!!

Yep...they are still kissin'!

The look on her face is just priceless!!!

And right after the ceremony...a family hug!

Now that all this is done...lets go play!!!

NEW!!! "SAVE-THE-DATES" photo shoots!!!

One of the first things to do after setting your date …is letting everyone know when it is!
A very popular trend along with sending "Save-The-Dates"
is using your photo's on them!

I have just started offering "Save The Date"  shoots through my studio...

WHAT is a "Save The Date" shoot?
They are a quick 30 minute shoot with a specific photo idea in mind to put on your Save the Dates to send out to friends and family. (Pinterest has great ideas for you to bring to your shoot.)
Here is a picture off of my client wall of Chris and Amanda's Save The Date:

Their "Save the Date" shoot was the first one I ever did for their upcoming NYE wedding.
Here is the blog link to their shoot:

Here is another clients Save The Date from my client wall:

There shoot is also on the blog:
(they used their engagement shoot, LOTS of pics to choose from!)

SMILE!!!

I just have time for a quick post, so I picked these from a wedding I was just working on.
These just show what I do.
It's all about the emotion, fun and a bride and groom just being themselves....just being real!

This was part of a "formal" shoot prior to their wedding in Monterey Bay
(psshhh....formal smormal!!!)
