Old Sacramento Engagement Shoot - Ashley and Al

Here is a fun Old Sacramento Engagement shoot we did in March. (They just had their wedding in April so I am going backwards on this post a little!) There are some places in this post that I do almost every time I am here, but this time there is a new place we added. I LOVED Ashley and Al's expressions with each other. They made it so easy to photograph. I think it's funny when people think they need direction...most of the time they don't need really any. When I do it's mostly helping them do things the do every day.

Ashley and Al's First Look!

 Here is the beautiful Ashley and charming Al's First Look! 

We decided to do their wedding formals in Downtown Sacramento, outside of The Citizen Hotel.

I love their little expressions behind each others back and then of course when they finally see each other! The best part was Ashley's veil! It was swooping over onto Al as she was standing behind him waiting for him to turn around! I also love the way we had their wedding party stand behind each of them. 

We don't do too many first looks as I leave that totally up to my couple and never push for one or the other, but LOVE them when we get to do them! Some of these are just priceless moments! So honored to have been able to photograph this beautiful wedding! There will be more of this Sacramento wedding in the coming days. EnJoy!!!
